I have to say that this series is a rather tame one. There is very little conflict in it other than between the characters with their struggles with the mating bond. There is no bad karma in this corner of the world. No clan wars, no human resentment, or chaos of any kind. It some ways it refreshing and in other ways it kind leaves you wanting more than just the fluff.This is Tyler, Trent's employee, that skipped out and left Trent driving the truck that Willow showed up in. This is Tyler's story of meeting with his mate Melanie. She is struggling with knowing she is mated and wanting things to be the same. She loves her new home with her brother and his wife and new baby, but she know it will have to chose between the statis quo and her mate.

This story confused the heck out of me when I started reading it. It really should have come before Stranded With Her Bear. Once I figured out the story was out of sequence I was able to catch on. Other then that it was a very cute story especially if you can skip the ick factor when you realize that Taylor is close to 50 years old and Melanie is 19. Its a very quick read, but a good one!!
