Warning: spoilers in this review.Really was loving both the male and female leads. I thought his attempts at romancing her were sweet and her objections to her kidnapping totally believable (as opposed to when the female succumbs waaay to quickly to the alpha in the typical PNR). But then the story wen to H in a hand basket for me with how she doesn't do a damn thing to help out her husband as he's being trotted all night long and she can hear it. Lord woman, create a fire, grab a gun, but just don't sleep the night as you know what awful things are going on in the floor below! Up to that point, I thought the female lead seemed realistic, but then from the torture scene onwards, I really got frustrated with the turn of events. Her family should have been given their just reward and her ability to resolve the differences of many hundreds of years feuding was just not to be believed. Lastly, the epilogue where her brother becomes enamored of a werewolf - oh geez, made me so disappointed in this way over the top, too much of an HEA. A better HEA would have been the death of her Nazi like family.

A Wolf Pride Love Bites Book 3 edition by Jennifer T Alli Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
I read this story before it became available on , having followed the author from fictionpress.com. I like this story VERY much and I really appreciate a good werewolf fiction. There aren't too many of them around, I find. However, despite the amateur writing style, the story itself is creative and a good read.
I have read two of the three books in this series and Loved them. However, the spelling & sentence stucture in some parts of the book actually distracted me from the story a couple of times. I believe she needs to find a proofreader and forget the spell check option. I have to admit,I am awful with grammer and writing skills but even I had to skip over parts and just fill in the wording. The stories are GREAT and I plan on downloading the third one this weekend.
I know this is really lazy but I'm trying to make my life easier. This is the same review for the first 3 books. They were good, well written. Interesting story lines. Each story was unique they didn't just re-tell the same plot with new names. Definitely worth the read if for no other reason to get to book 4 which was my favorite.
Of the three books in the series, this is my favorite. The characters have grown on me and I have come to love everyone of them. I like how the author keeps the old characters in all the books and helps pull them in and make them seem like they belond. I love how Chloe doesn't just give in and fights back. That's what I like about this author. She doesn't make the damsels seem weak and makes them seem life like. The way she winds in the modern day times with that of the old is very well thought through. A Great read and I highly suggest it. Just be warned there is sexual content and i suggest you be 17 or older before reading!
I loved this story! It was seriously just about perfect. the ending was so satisfying for the story. <spoiler> it was genius to deal with the hunger problem the way she did! must authors wouldn't have thought to do that. now I just don't know who the bad guys will be in the next one.</spoiler> and the ending with Daniel! what?! Jennifer alli does an amazing job of connecting the books and characters instead of just moving on to the next pairing. the ending is just another example of that )
Full disclosure I couldn't finish this book. I started reading because the story and premise interested me, and I continued longer than I otherwise would in hopes that my initial impressions would be fleeting. Unfortunately, they were not. I have two objections, the first being a matter of taste, and the second, while related, being a matter of believability.
SPOILER ALERT
So-called hero kidnaps heroine, threatens violence to anyone who might help her, and takes her where the entire society has not emerged from the Middle Ages, and thinks "I don't want to be here; I want to go home; I want to live the life I fought for and chose" is far from good enough reason to not stay with a perfect stranger who announces they're together forever.
/END SPOILERS
As a matter of taste, this is right up there with the seventies medievals that so many people love to hate. Apparently, being the perfect mate for a werewolf requires a propensity to develop Stockholm Syndrome. Unfortunately, that does not suit my particular tastes.
But as a further criticism, I found it impossible to suspend disbelief when even the first human the heroine encountered seemed to have little to no problem with kidnapping as a seduction technique. I had fully intended to finish the book until I saw that. The universal agreement that the heroine just needed to get over it made the story far less believable than if reactions had been mixed. As it was, having the whole group act as if kidnapping were nothing more than a minor faux pas at best made the hunters' claims that the werewolves are monsters far more sympathetic than the author seemed to have intended.
Again, I did not finish the book, and perhaps the author eventually addressed some of this. From my perspective, if she did, she took too long.
I loved Ryan, "I don't want things," he stated forcefully. "And I would never hurt you. I only came here because of you, I'm here to claim you." The man really has no filter, "I don't see why you're so concerned about your weight love, I meant what I said earlier. You're gorgeous. All soft, gentle curves. I can barely stand to look at you because you're so much of a temptation. Does that tell you nothing?" And he'd do anything for his gal, "of course you can love. I'll take care of any bugs in the future so don't worry. Please stop crying, your tears are killing me. I can't stand the thought of you suffering." His wolf oh boy that thing is wild, "Ryan roared, his eyes instantly turning amber. She marked us, his wolf purred. She's definitely open to our advances. The claiming will go ahead this moon."
Warning spoilers in this review.
